This is the third book I've read this year that referenced the books Jane Eyre and Rebecca. I guess that's a clear indication I should add both to my reading list!
I liked this book a lot. Loved the twists and the turns of the plot as the story unfolded. The flashbacks were easy to follow. The narrative was vivid and descriptive.
I couldn't put the book down when I had about 1/3 left because I was dying to see how it all turned out!

I see quite a few good reviews for this but I just don't see it. There's a problem when it takes 90% for me to finally get into a book (and something wrong with me for sticking with it so long) and an even bigger problem when the big twist falls flat. I appreciate the analysis of the twin bond but none of these characters grab me, make me feel anything other than annoyance for wasting my time, or play a part in a story that is mysterious.
