Gone Girl was a wonderful read . The alternating point-of-view story made for compulsive page turner, staying up late for one more page. Gillian Flynn, develops characters who you believe you know and then present a different take. The ahh- ha at the end is not so ah-ha, but delivered in a great way. BRILLIANT.

**Spoiler Alert**. You have been warned, just in case I accidentally give something away!
So here is the gist: it starts out strong, great mystery, great twists, the "big reveal" was a bit predictable, bit not to shabby. But then it starts to go downhill by becoming more grandiose, more far-fetched, and kinda silly. But the worst is that it just ends. Wait, what?! No conclusion? No resolution? I never even thought of reading this one! My friend got an e-copy from the library and didn't want to read it, so I glanced at it... That was my first mistake....
