I was always interested in African-American history and this book was such a remarkable addition to my collection. I totally recommend it to everyone who wants to get to know more about those african ladies who lived in the 60s and know things from their own perspective. How they lived, suffered and felt.

It was touching..
I loved Minny, Aibileen, and Skeeter.
at first, I didn't like Skeeter, but as the the story goes, I loved her. I think we have something in common, I mean me and Skeeter. We both are surrounding with people will never understand us. ...more
