I picked up this book mainly because all my blogger friends have written rave reviews of this novel and, since I really wanted to know what a Childe was, I decided to read it. Unfortunately for me, this book didn’t leave me with the same sentiments as it did my friends. I liked it, but I felt that it was a little pushed—too fast paced for my reading style, and I had a hard time connecting to the characters because of it.
