This was a phenomenal novel! I am always extremely impressed when authors come up with a completely original idea and make it come alive on the page, and King is a superb writer that does just that. Krista and Mark are beautiful characters that I want to meet in person—I want them to be real; their caring personalities and wonderful abilities make me wish we could be friends. I love the fact that this is something I have not read before, a totally unique and interesting premise for a book. I loved reading about Krista's journey and learning the cause of her strange dreams and emotional upheaval. I loved the end scenes and Bruno. I am trying not to give anything away, because I don't want to take the fun out of it. I'll just say that I was left wanting to know more... So, Forgotten Souls, here I come! ...more
