The young boy narrating the story expresses his frustration and resentment about always being in the shadow of his neuro-divergent younger brother. Through the story the narrator realizes that he is special in his own way because he knows how to help the younger brother when he has a "bad day".
This is a great picture book about familial relationships between children of varying ability levels. A sibling who is going through the same situation would benefit from this story as a "mirror". Reading
