The main message of this book is about seeing injustices and the importance of standing up when we see wrongdoings. My favorite line is "Remember to be true, the best of yourself. Then you'll be a friend to everyone else." It is important to start teaching children early that they can stand up for what they believe in and that they don't have to just accept poor treatment. This book created a fun way to talk about doing what is right and how important it is to be kind to yourself and others. ...more
