This book is about a little bird who teaches a dog to read. The readers follow along Rocket's journey as he learns the alphabet, how to sound out words, and ultimately how to read. I recommend this book because it teaches young children how to listen to sounds and words in order to read. Students would be interested in this book because it has cute animals, fun pictures, and big text words that are easy to see.
