I personally love this book, despite all the negative reviews. This is a great book to share in classrooms. The book teaches children the importance of sharing, being humble and kind. At the beginning of the book, Rainbow Fish was full of pride as he was the most beautiful fish in the sea. He didn't want to share or play with any of his friends. This book is about a beautiful fish who was overconfident, had no friends, and was unhappy. He realized that if he shared his beautiful scales with others that he too could be happy and have many friends. This is a great book for children because it shows the importance of sharing. It also shows that you can derive great happiness from sharing with others.
