This book is a great book for reading to the class on the first day of school. Children are sometimes nervous of what comes with school so reading a book to break the ice is great! I recommend this book because it allows for a comfortable and safe place to learn. It's illustrations are very beautiful and warm. It's demonstrates diversity in the pictures.
