I really enjoyed reading this book! It explained the color of people's skin in a beautiful way. Lena and her mother walk around their neighborhood and Lena see's all these different shades and tones of brown. The book continues to showcase skin color in a positive loving way which is really amazing for children to listen to and read. This would be a good example of a diverse book to read in class to children.
