This book stood out to me because the story is written in English, but there are some Spanish vocabulary as well. Maravilloso means marvelous in Spanish, so it can help Spanish speaking students to have a better understanding of the text. I truly enjoyed reading this book because, it was easy for children to understand their meaning of "identity." I recommend this book because, it covers dynamics of race, ethnicity, and culture through the eyes of a bi-cultural child in a colorful world. The book interests students by the easy text, Spanish vocabulary, and vibrant colors and illustrations.
