I Want My Hat Back tells a story of a bear who has lost his hat and asks other woodland animals if they have seen it. This book was fun to read, I loved the art, the simple writing and the humor in the story. This book is recommended for 2 to 6 years old. The book with its simple repetitive language would be recommendable for beginning readers. The book can also be used for circle time discussions. After reading the book the teacher can ask open ended questions about the fate of the rabbit.
