I really adored about three of these stories (the Rainbow Rowell one, the Christmas tree one and the Christmas Cafe one), and found most of the rest of them to be very damn solid, with just a couple that I wasn't into. So over all, four stars. There definitely were some trope-y things that I was starting to get tired of - lots of absent parents, meet-cutes, and first kisses. Nothing wrong with any of those in stories in general, but when taken all together like this it got to be a bit much. But

Some stories were good, and others were slow at first but got better...
Like all short story collections, this had good and not so good stories. I enjoyed the stories by Rowell, Han, and Perkins; liked those by La Pena and Levithan; disliked Black and was neutral about the others.

Each story is unique in this collection of YA holiday tales. Most feature some form of romance. Many are terrifically bizarre! A fun read.

I adored most of the stories and they got me in the holiday spirit.
