Wow.
I have been reading Wheel of Time simply because I love Sanderson's work and want to read everything he publishes. So I have powered through 12 of Jordan's books, finding most of them merely tolerable, but not connecting with the characters or stories at all. They've been horribly paced, to say the least. Multiple books ended with no climax or even cliffhanger, just another chapter in a too-long story.
