I really liked the first chapter. And then a bunch of stuff happens that did not really interest me very much. And then there's a so-called "climax" which definitely has significance for the story, I'm sure, but was extremely short and not at all exciting to read.
I honestly don't know how these were bestsellers. Jordan's pacing is probably the worst I've ever read. Way too much extraneous information, lots of people talking and scheming and talking about scheming and while it may all be "importa ...more
