I loved this book even more than the first. I seriously couldn't put it down. I finished it yesterday and started the third in the series last night. Yelena has had a hard difficult life and yet is so strong and resilent. I love her strong bond with Valek and her friendship with Ari and Janco and how she comes together with the family she lost. A fun entertaining read.

I really liked Magic Study. I didn't love it like Poison Study, but it was still really good. At times it was hard to follow the action, but I was very entertained and I couldn't put it down.

I thought that this was a very excellent follow-up to Poison Study; I got it the week I finished Poison Study and couldn't put it down! Kudos to Maria Snyder!

Need to review
Loved it! A great second installment to the "Study" series. Yelena finally meets her family after 14 years and she learns more about her magic, all the while trying to figure out where she belongs and how to gain the trust of those in a somewhat foreign country. More danger and deceit lies ahead as she finds herself, once again, in some undesirable situations and company.

I've been enjoying this series. Not as much romance (especially if you just read Twilight) but enjoyable characters and alot of action. It is a page turner.
