I think maybe this has been my favorite one yet. I really liked the representatives of all the different pantheons who all came to Dream's castle. There's sort of a conceptual precursor to American Gods here. Unlike the last few, this whole book was one coherent story, which I prefer. I even really liked the brief diversion to the boarding school invaded by the dead.

The fourth volume of the Sandman series follows Morpheus as he faces the consequences of his past decisions, finding himself in a situation not entirely to his likely. Again supported by superb illustrations throughout.
