This book falls into the category of "unexpectedly unputdownable' a rather clunky phrase for a book that was an enjoyable read. The characters make it, the four main ones are seriously flawed but likeable, and blunder their way into their own solution to each other's problems. The translation only shows when there are mentions of Paris or other obvious clues, and although the ending was almost too tidy, it rounds the tale off perfectly.

A non-story about friendship and how we get to save each other :)
Such a beautiful gem of a book.
Taken in depth, it lacks much narration, it's like moving from one photography to another, built on much dialogue.
Yet, after being shells for a long time, each of the characters comes to life, with their wounds, their quirks and their own special need for love.
Camille, Franck and Philou (and later Paulette) form the chosen family, a dysfunctional one, that teaches them how to love and ends up saving ...more
