What Members Thought
This was a short book. Kinda like a mini of Jane Eyre (MY FAVORITE BOOK!). The ending was both sweet and unexpected. You were rooting for Agnes throughout the whole book, and when you thought all your bets where off she won the jackpot.
My friend in Uni once read this and said that it was boring, so I wasn't expecting it to be good, but I end up enjoying it more than I expected. It's so much more calmer, less passionate, than the other Brontes' writings. It is actually more in the line of Austen, and I suppose that is why I enjoyed it quite a lot. It's a short book, and the ending is a bit rushed, but if you enjoy Austen and - like me - always craving for more Austen-like stories, Agnes Grey is a good enough substitute.
