What Members Thought
Lisa See writes compelling stories about characters I really care about and places them in fascinating periods of Chinese culture and history. This continuation of May's, Pearl's and Joy's story did not disappoint. My only regret was waiting so long to read it so that some of the details of "Shanghai Girls" were forgotten or very fuzzy in my memory.

I loved the book. I had read Shanghai Girls and so of course I had to see what happened next and read this book. I enjoy reading something that has real historical events worked into the fictional story. Great story with the characters and I liked hearing from both Pearl and Joy's points of view.
