Neil Gaiman is a truly talented writer. I had heard so much about this book before I started it, including an interview with Gaiman himself, that I had high hopes. I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and their personalities. I spent a lot of time trying to connect the gods with the characters in the story, which was why I found this book so fun.
It is one of those books that can feel a bit disjointed at first. It kind of gives you the pieces and the slowly it all begins to form a complete picture.

Let me start by saying that I like Neil Gaiman's writings - his fantasy stories. However, big books (over 500 pages) intimidate me. So...there I am...with a big book in my hands by a writer I like.

This was my least favorite of his books and I've read most of them and love his work. Like others said it was longer than necessary and the mini stories could have been left out.
