It is scary and disturbing. Leads you to doubt the smallest of gestures and its impact on the mind of the child. I have always been more tilted towards the nature versus nurture debate but this book emphasises it in a manner which leaves one feeling bereft of all influence as a parent. As if there is nothing you can do in face of true evil. For those who dont know, the book is in the form of reminescences written by a mother whose son has killed several of his classmates in the school gym. Pleas ...more
