What Members Thought
The painful thing about old sf is that no matter how interesting the ideas are and how intriguing the plot is, the whole thing is absolutely plagued with sky-high misogyny. It just corrupts the whole story. It's so hard to put aside to get any enjoyment out of the thing because every time you turn around you're face-to-face with whatever weird gender hangups men seemed to have been suffering under in the 70s.
