What Members Thought
I, Claudius is the story of Claudius the Roman emperor's life up to the point at which he became emperor. it details the reigns of Augustus, Tiberius and Caligula.
Graves telling of the story is both entertaining and informative. He has the ability to put the reader in the period and make it educational as welll.
Character development in this book is wonderful.
The one drawback for me, as I was quite unfamiliar with this period and the personalities was keeping track of who was who. ...more
