Primo capitolo della saga dei Clifton, che vedevo andare in prestito in continuazione in biblioteca, ma che non avevo ancora avuto modo di avvicinare. Ora, complice una sfida e l'audiolibro, l'ho fatto e ne sono contenta. Bellissimi i personaggi, la storia narrata dai diversi punti di vista, tutti i colpi di scena che si susseguono. E il finale?! Degno di un finale di stagione da serie tv, leggi (ascolti) le ultime parole e sei lì, a bocca aperta, a dire "E adesso???".

There's mystery involved here, but this story itself is not a mystery. It's the tale of the life of Harry Clifton, seen from various angles, from pre-grammar-school age through his young-adulthood. The headings in the book let the reader know that the coming section will focus on the person named, sometimes using the first-person, and sometimes the third-.
