Another excellent addition to the In Death series as Eve and her team investigate the deaths of several teenage girls whose bodies were concealed behind the walls of a derelict children's home for 15 years.
The case is heartbreaking not only because the girls' lives were taken from them so early, but also because of the terrible abuse most of them suffered during their lifetimes. Although there is a sense of closure to the case and the resolution is realistic, it is some ...more

Roarke has purchased yet another property and during demo (which of course like any man he insists on taking the first swing himself) and discovers two bodies wrapped in plastic. He calls Eve in and by the end of the day there are 12 bodies.

This one was hard to listen to at times. All those bodies. All those young girls. And in the end, everyone was a loser and there really were no winners. I cried a lot during this one because it was all so awful but you just had no idea how it could have all gone so haywire. And through it all, Eve stood for her dead like she always does. And for these girls, some of whom had some really hard lives, I think she saw some of herself there. I really lost it at end when there was name given. I don't
