This is an interestingly written book. It reads very simple and towards the end a bit jumbled but that’s what is so unique about it. You can take away nothing or you can take away so much from the many nuances scattered throughout.
The premise is very interesting and in the end my mind kept saying “power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely”.

I found THIS very tough going. I don't know why I kept at it - I thought about giving up many times. For one thing, I'm very tired of books which alternate among telling a number of different people's stories while, as a reader, I am frustrated waiting to see how they'll all tie together. In this book, that took a long time.
