Now, I wished that I had been a fan all along and didn't wait this long to read this book! I loved how it transported me into the world of Hogwarts and there wasn't a minute where I didn't want to know what happened next. Rowling knows how to write a good story filled with friendship, adventure and intrigue. Now I can say that I've finally read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I don't know why I waited so long to read it, but I'm so glad that I finally did. Even though it's geared for middle grade readers it's such a fun and entertaining read that readers of all ages would enjoy it - no wonder it's so popular. I plan on reading the next books in the series soon.

I am one of the very few people in this world who hasn't read the Harry Potter saga.
I had many reasons for not wanting to read them:
#1. I always thought the books were childish.
#2. I would be embarrassed to be seen reading them in public.
#3. I already watched all the movies.
#4. The books are childish.
#5. I don't really like fantasy all that much. Trolls, dragons, magic, goblins, etc.. Not my thing.
#6. The books are too thick.
