Alice takes additional meaning with the edition with multiple interesting and helpful comments by Gardner. I STRONGLY recommend reading this edition, which gives the reader insight to the mathematical jokes and double entendres that Lewis Carroll wrote.
One of those rare cases where I think the movie interpretation was better.
