Kidnapping books are usually not me favourite type of thriller/horror. This one had a lot of moving points to it. A lot of characters telling different parts of the story by chapter. This is a gripping tale about a young girl who was taken into the woods due to her drunken father's rage, the same night her friend, Petra also goes missing from her bed. Told through the voices of all the people involved this story reminded me of a Jodi Picoult novel as the events led into other revelations about the character's past and relationships with one another.
