Yes, you just can never tell what really goes on behind closed doors though sometimes, you could just be oblivious to the signs thinking that it's strange but oh wells. I had something of a conversation with a work colleague about this and the shocked look on her face when I stated that I think that's abuse(!!). It gets me really angry and I think this is one reason why I do not like psychological thriller; they are usually domestically set and they really get on my nerve.

I like writing style but the ending left me wanting more...too much of a pretty bow
It is going to be very hard to rate this book. The author has created just the right atmosphere, the chill and the danger in Grace's life. The two sides of Jack the menace of his character. BUT i hated it I did not want to read it. It was too real. I don't think i want the pictures this book created in my mind but then you have to say that the penmanship was good if it could create that unease. This book was at times disturbing to continue listening to but it had enough suspense to keep you listening. I will say you do get an idea of where the book is going or what may happen somewhat early in. It wasn't bad and yet in my opinion wasn't great. It was simply ok.

Good suspenseful novel. Creepy story.
This one got under my skin. I can't really say I enjoyed it because the story line is pretty unpleasant, but I had to finish it to know what happened.
