The sticker on the front of my copy reads " We can't fake it. NZ blood needs you". A piece of clever placement advertising, and a comment perhaps on the success of this series that they think we'll all go out and donate after reading the book. I wonder if they have it on the tv version as well!

This is the ninth book in the series and once again Sookie manages to get herself embroiled in another supernatural war, this time amongst the Fae including her great-grandfather Niall. During this she also manages to bond herself to Eric even more, become part of the great reveal by the Weres and get caught up in the brutal murder of her sister-inlaw Crystal. These books are handy to read in breaks between consults at work. You don't need to concentrate too much to find where you were in the story, and they're quite entertaining.
