And so my forays into the world of philosophy continue and while I probably missed so much in this book that others with a better grounding in such things would've seen (easily I would imagine) I really enjoyed this. well this was hard work. Whilst the language used was not difficult i seemed to find the whole structure of the book bland and tiresome. It has taken me days to read as it could send me to sleep in minutes. I cannot say it was drivel, there were aspects that struck a chord but the whole was less than thrilling. There are some thoughts about power / government and the people that are as true today as they were.
