I sat down to give this book a try and 2.5 hours later I was done. What a good book! I really enjoyed the premise, the mystery and the characters. I'm not sure how Charlaine Harris writes MCs who are completely messed up but I love them anyway, but she does. In the hands of a different writer I doubt I would have liked Harper at all. Why oh why are there 90 million Sookie Stackhouse books and only 4 Harper Connelly books?

Harper Connelly is an unusual person she can locate the dead and tell how they died. This is a great mystery that you can't put down. Read them all. Charlaine Harris really out did herself with this fun character.
