I had gotten this book for a book club. I really hated how self-centered this main character was. Even when she was "helping" people she was still thinking of herself. I don't like that fact that people read this book and think that it is o.k to act and treat people like that. It is sad, just plain old sad.

It was an alright book...it's never a good thing when I can't sympathize with the main character, but I am willing to read the second book and give this series another chance.
