A very weak 3* for this, and that's only because the last 70 pages somewhat redeemed the title character. This is total fluff, and that's not a bad thing, but when I read fluff, I want to at least like the main character. Becky is self-centered, self-indulgent, childish and immature, and she goes on that way for almost 3/4 of the book. She even cons her own parents! ...more

A hilarious read! Great for the weekend while I was feeling a little bit lazy to do anything. Now, on to Book 2!

This one just didn't do it for me. I kept getting frustrated at how she continued to spend and spend. Get a little willpower for crying out loud. Even though the movie got horrible reviews, I enjoyed it much more than the book. I give it a C-, ...more

I had gotten this book for a book club. I really hated how self-centered this main character was. Even when she was "helping" people she was still thinking of herself. I don't like that fact that people read this book and think that it is o.k to act and treat people like that. It is sad, just plain old sad. ...more
