I really don't know why I continue to read Jodi Picoult books every now and then - they are essentially all the same and the endings are usually hugely disappointing. This was no exception - very similar to My Sister's Keeper and a pointless ending. I would have liked to have read more about Willow's older sister Amelia than the backstory with the lawyer and her adoption. I just love the quality of Jodi Picoult's writing. I also think she does a wonderful job of communicating how there are some things about being human and loving other human beings that can't be expressed by cold, hard reason alone.
I'd like to read all of Picoult's books; I have some catching up to do. So far I have only read Plain Truth, My Sister's Keeper, and now, "Handle with Care." In "Handle with Care", I do see what some other reviewers have expressed, that it is quite similar to "My Siste ...more
