I started out reading this book and once I got the gist of what it was about, I thought I would feel for both sides of the argument but I never did. Ms. Picoult never made a strong argument for the Mother's reasoning. Maybe she didn't believe, at the end of the day, the mother was doing what was best.

Cover: The Handle with Care cover is sweet. It's different from the types of covers my other Jodi Picoult books have had. It makes more sense once you've read some of the book.
Characters: Picoult always does a great job developing her characters. Willow was my favorite. She was such a unique character, and there actually wasn't much written from her point of view. Not Jodi Picoult's best work. Usually her books have great and engaging characters but this time around the only character that really seemed to hit the mark was Amelia. The ending-which I was guess was supposed to be a dramatic plot twist was pretty predictable and rather rushed. It was worth a read but I don't think I'll ever re-read this one.
