What Members Thought
This book was fantastic. I just loved all of the characters, especially little Thebes - that girl is just so witty and insightful and so damaged. Her brother is beautiful too, their relationship was the standout thing for me. This book does not waste a single page, the dialogue, the story it was all so quirky but believable and just magic. It is such a great portrayal of serious mental illness and the fallout for the sufferer and the loved ones. A definite fave!
This book is a wild ride. A strange mix of sadness and hope. It had some pretty funny parts, but was not a comedy. It was a good story about the lives affected by someone with mental illness. The ending was not as I expected and kind of let me down.
