The book started off very slow and I found myself feeling like I was reading a less refined (in terms of language style) version of "Pride and Prejudice", which I didn't enjoy. However, the second part of the novel really picked up the slack. I enjoyed the fast pace plot that developed in Part II and I enjoyed Forsters' style of writing in the end. At moments it was comical and I enjoyed the times he speaks to the reader very openly.
