The writing is lovely and the characters are enjoyable, but I’m 2 hours in and there just isn’t anything going on. I can’t imagine 13 more hours of this, so I’m giving up.

I really enjoyed this. I liked following Ursula through all her lives, watching the mistakes & challenges to rectify those mistakes. I would have liked a bit more of the final story where things work out. I imagine what a creepy feeling it would be when Ursula started to recognise some of the events in her life were more than just deja vu.

Ursula Todd was born on a snowy day in 1910. Her life took many different paths, all ending in death. Some of her life paths were happy and some were sad. This is the story of Ursula's life or rather the story of the possibilities that Ursula's life held at her birth. It is about the many ways she could have died but didn't...or did she?

What helped was that the chapter headings were dates and, thus, knowing her date of birth (November 2010), it was a bit more possible to figure out what was happening in her life.

At most, a

Ursula Todd is born in 1910 and dies at birth then Ursula Todd is born in 1910 and lives thanks to a doctors intervention. Ursula continues to live to various ages die and be reborn. I found the whole structure of the book and the many iterations of Ursula's life to be fascinating. I liked the way the author explored how one incident could change the course of a life. The only part I didn't like was the ending. It just wasn't satisfactory to me. ...more
