Surprisingly I didn't cry while reading this book, and that's the only way I could tell that this is not a Nicholas Sparks book. Well that and the ghost characters and the fact it didn't take place on the coast of North Carolina (close, just a bit farther up the East Coast in an awesome town in Massachusetts). I liked this book. I went in knowing it would be similar to a Nicholas Sparks book and I like his stuff so I was happy with it. It is a short quick read that was worth the read.

I can't really say much without giving the story away (not that it's that hard to figure out once you start reading) but it was pretty good, about relationships that continue even after death.

It is a very interesting book with tender, sad, & loving moments
Quick read, enjoyable. Will probably watch the movie eventually. Touching story.
