I enjoyed the alternating narrators of Nick and Norah. I thought it was an engagingly witty and humorous story about two young people who were so right for one another finding each other. Of course, finding isn't keeping, and so the story unfolds. ...more

Much better than I expected.

This quirky and sweet love story unfolded in a matter of hours during one New York night out. The narrative is confusing at first since it's written in stream of consciousness kinda way. However, once you get to know the characters, it became easier to understand.

The book checks all the box for romcom YA. Cute protagonists. Witty banters. Huge chemistry between the leads. I totally buy their relationship even thought everything happened in only a few hours.

I'm disappointed I never read this book when I was a teenager. I think it may have become my new fave.

It's written in a way that totally calls to my 16 year old self. It still makes me want to run back into that day and time when I was far more carefree. It's the idea of chasing after that perfect night that you never want to end and then admitting to yourself that even if the night ends this doesn't have to.

I just finished the book. It was all right. Some parts of the book were really good, but most of it wasn't. I thought the movie was so much better than the book, and that is unusual. I did like Nick's character in the book better than in the movie, but other than that the movie far surpassed the book. ...more

I really enjoyed this. It was a quick, easy read that I finished in two sittings. It was cute and definitely had a bunch of lines that were wicked funny. I am looking forward to seeing the movie and recommend this to others.

I read this in a few hours. A really cute story about a guy who asks a girl to pretend to be his girlfriend for five minutes so his ex won't think he's alone. Lots of funny lines and references-loved it! ...more

Very cute book. I think Nick and Norah really fit together. I loved the writing and the fact that both Rachel and David wrote the respected parts. The secondary characters were great.
