Not really my cup of tea. The packaging is nice though.
I first read this book when I was 16 or so as required reading in my English AP class. It was my introduction into the genre and it is because of it that I found books aren't even limited to the imagination.
It is easy to fall in love with the magical world created by Tolkien. There is always some adventure, some peril, some enemy or friend (or enemy turned friend and vice versa) to keep the reader engaged.
