Reading this book was a challenge that I had given myself...about 3 years back! So, read it I did and am feeling accomplished having read it all..I couldnt understand it though...The language was not the issue, it is quite simple. But there are so many metaphors, I got the feeling of being in the magic room of mirrors..I would give a longish gap before picking up the next book by Murakami, case of processor overload!
Overall bagus dan bikin mikir ini tiba-tiba gini kok tiba-tiba nyambung ini itu, begitulah. Ini novel Haruki Murakami pertama yang saya baca dalam bentuk terjemahan. Sebelumnya baca Norwregian Wood tapi itu baca cepet dan bahasa inggris. Haruki Murakami punya ciri khas sendiri di novel-novelnya. Pertama baca Kafka of the Shore ini rasanya absurd banget, kucing bisa ngomong, dan beberapa tokohnya ga nyambung sama sekali, tokoh yang aneh juga, yg anehnya bisa terhubung di akhir cerita dengan cara
