Shelves: ya, series-following, dystopia

This sequel of Unwind was remarkably interesting! I think it complimented the story really well, it explored many different possibilities about the unwinding process.

throughout the book there are many "ads" about associations communicating their concerns about the laws regulating unwinding. Some of them were very interesting and even fun.

There was an introduction of a new character, which I thought was really compelling, Cam. (view spoiler) This sequel of Unwind was remarkably interesting! I think it complimented the story really well, it explored many different possibilities about the unwinding process.

The followup on the characters from the previous books was fascinating. I liked so much to see what Connor, Risa and Lev did after, how their lives changed and how now they had new responsibilities.

What I didn't like is that they were seen all over the book as celebrities. Everyone knew who the Akron AWOL is and what he did, and so did all the tithes with Lev.

This is what stopped me from giving it 5 stars because there was no way a common tithe would have known everything Lev did after, as to say he knows all his life, every single detail. It seems like a little too much for me, and it's not that believable at all.

Talking about no believable, there was a part in the end that didn't make any sense at all, and this upsets me so much, because Neal Shusterman seems to be putting a lot of effort into the world building to fall into non-believability for me. (view spoiler)

And this basically is it, an enthralling sequel.

I think the third book will have a bit more action, like war action. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not necessarily starving to get my hands on it. So take your time with it, Neal. Make it more believable. Thanks. ...more
