Well you did it again, another 5 stars
Colleen Hoover has quickly become one of my favorite authors, and with each additional book I read by her, I become more impressed. Hopeless was an intensely emotional book that kept me reading as quickly as I could to see what would happen next. I loved the main characters, Sky and Holder, and wanted only the best for both of them. The storyline kept me guessing, and some parts of it surprised me. I am eagerly looking forward to the next book!

This is the perfect book for when you need distracting from something, but don't feel like having to think too hard. Given the unbelievably positive reviews by almost everyone else who has read it, that sounds like damning with faint praise, I know. For the first third of the book I was thinking-ok, good characters, typical teen angst and girl-meets-bad-boy stuff, but then the plot twists started to kick in. Some books you just know the story before you have even read it but this was a story that really shocked me. I don't want to give anything away but I will say that even though the subject of this book is quite tough, it is still a beautiful read. I had never heard of Colleen Hoover until this was recommended to me but now I have to read more by her.
