Bella la narrazione alternata (geniale anche farla tradurre a due persone diverse, in modo da dare a ognuno il suo stile). Devo dire che il "colpo di scena" l'avevo intuito da subito, anche se lo immaginavo per ragioni diverse. Odiosissima lei, fin da subito, concordo con chi dice che si avvertiva la falsità. Mi sono immedesimata molto di più, mio malgrado, con lui. Comunque gran bella lettura, avvincente, di quei libri che non riesci a posare finché non li hai finiti!

So, Jen's book club pick is a thriller where Nick's wife disappears under suspicious circumstances and he is being investigated for her disappearance/murder. It was a wonderful ride. The characters were amazing and the plot actually kept me thinking. I was very impressed since this was my first time out with this author.

I can't quite place my finger on why I didn't like this book more; maybe it was because so many others talked it up so much that it simply didn't live up to my expectations. The middle was okay, but I barely made it through the first half and found myself wishing it was over about 50 pages before it actually was.
