Mi ci è voluto decisamente più di quanto sperassi a finire questo libro, non perché fosse noioso, lento o scritto male, anzi, ma perché è stato un anno anomalo, fra le varie cose, anche per la lettura. Touching and worrying tale of bullying, its after effects and the need to fit in. The setting was Sterling High School but it could have been anywhere and with any age group. Even adults try to belong and in turn look down upon whoever is different. As a parent, I kept looking for clues for right behaviour but I realised all the parents in the book were doing the same and no-one had the answers.
